Korenevo represents a vacant plot of approximately 200 ha, located to the east of Moscow. Given the rising demand for affordable housing, the client has asked KuiperCompagnons to develop a flexible Masterplan model, which would include high-density residential development of varying height with all the necessary infrastructural and communal facilities. The Masterplan was worked out both in Rotterdam and Moscow in close interaction between KC and the client. The result of the extensive work is a Masterplan for new garden-city with projected population of some 30000 people and density of 4000 m2/ha.

The main accent of the plan is to create stand-out public spaces, taking into consideration the features of the existing landscape and creation of a series of water canals in the central part of the Masterplan. The project was executed taking into account all regulations of the Russian Federation.
