UMCG GP practice

The Groningen Academic General Practice consists of ten practices that combine patient-oriented practice with the added value of university-oriented education and research. The practices are subdivided into two groups, located at the central reception hall in the facilities buildings of the UMCG.
The appearance stays in line with the vision of the hospital, an open and recognizable ambiance. Both groups have a different character, but the method of organization is the same. The practice rooms are accessed from the central waiting areas through spacious, high and open corridors. Because of the efficient use of space, both doctors and patients use this corridor. The "hospital" atmosphere of separate worlds is thus avoided. This is enhanced by an abundance of daylight, views and the application of art.
