
Urban Farming Partners explores urban farming potential in Hong Kong
09 may '19Wouter Vos (KuiperCompagnons) and Henk van Eijk (Kenlog b.v.) two experts of Urban Farming Partners, visited Hong Kong on Tuesday and Wednesday to discuss the opportunities and challenges of Urban Farming in Hong Kong. The two day visit included a dinner with Annemieke Ruigrok, Consul General of the Netherlands in Hong Kong, a visit to Farm66, a hi-tech vertical vegetable farm, and the Vegetable Marketing Organisation’s Controlled Environment Hydroponic Research & Development Center.
The visit is a preparation for an urban farming seminar in Hong Kong which will take place later this year.
